Hot Chocolate

Great at any time but especially wonderful when you need to spoil yourself on a cold winter night.

This is a nice recipe for a rich dark cup of Hot Chocolate. Great at any time but especially wonderful when you need to spoil yourself on a cold winter night.

So snuggle up in front of the fire with this wonderful Hot Chocolate recipe courtesy of our good friend Daisie - merci!

Ingredients
  • 75g Dark chocolate (85% cocoa for stronger taste)
  • 20 cl milk
  • 15 cl single cream
  • 2 teaspoon of sugar
  • half of a vanilla pod

Method

Makes 2 large cups

1) Slice the vanilla pod in half.

2) In a large pan, cook at a low heat the chocolate, the milk, the cream, the sugar and the vanilla for around 8 mn (or when the chocolate has melted).

3) Mix regularly with a wisk.

Serve immediately!
