Oreo
Cookies
A
taste to America, the classic chocolate taste of
Oreos. Perfect
with a big glass of ice cold milk, the cookies made
from this recipe rarely make it to the biscuit barrel,
they are all eaten long before then.
| Ingredients |
- 2 packages cake mix,
devils food
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable
shortening
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 package cream cheese
- 2 2/3 cups powdered
sugar
- 3/4 cup butter

| Method |
1)
Cream together first four ingredients.
Roll into balls and bake at 350°
for 9 minutes only. Let cool in pan
2)
For the frosting: Mix cream cheese,
powdered sugar and butter. Spread between
cookies.
Best
if refrigerated!
